Hotwheel heaven

Dave took Jack to Target yesterday and bought him a giant Hotwheel track. I think he was more excited than Jack was! Here Jack is lining up his cars to race. As you can see, the track is quite long. Luckily it folds up. Out of sight, out of mind right?

Jack's parking lot

Jack is into lining up all of his cars and trucks these days. Today he was stacking them on top of each other in the car hauler. He was getting mad when no more cars would fit on the train table. Totally 100% mess!!

Assorted pics from Memphis

Jack's uncle Miller came over to visit him while we were close by. They enjoyed playing together and even caught some of his new favorite movie, Cars. Notice how Jack is sitting perfectly still taking in the movie. He's fascinated by it and we're just enjoying a reprieve from our not so favorite purple dinosaur........ It was great having Cars to watch on the road too since it's almost 2 hours long. Here is a cute picture of baby Blake smiling. He's such a snuggly baby. Jack never did warm up to Blake that much. He would occasionally get mad when I held him or fed him a bottle, but most of the time he just made sure to stay close by and monitor things. What can I say, he's a mama's boy!

The Hadskey cousins

Jack also spent time with his cousins Ryley and Caroline, who also live in Memphis. We met them for breakfast and all 3 big kids got chocolate milkshakes! After breakfast we went over to Aunt Ashley's house to play with girl toys. Jack is about one year younger than his cousins Henry and Ryley and about one year older than his cousin Caroline.

Jack and Henry

We're back from our week-long trip to Memphis to visit Aunt Christy and cousins Blake and Henry. Both Jack and Henry are obsessed with anything on wheels and had lots of fun playing together all week. They enjoyed eating cheese dip together, watching the movie Cars (sitting side by side), wearing matching pjs and riding in the Tahoe with baby Blake. I know Jack will miss hanging out with his cousins tomorrow when he wakes up! Jack is actually saying "cheese" in the pj picture. He's such a ham! I love the pictures of the boys in the bathtub with spiky hair. So fun :)

Jack and the ducks, part 2

Jack comes home tomorrow after spending a week with Mimi and Popa. Mimi took him back to visit the ducks by her school. He especially loves the white duck and would clap whenever the duck ate the bread he gave him. We can't wait to get Jack back..... even if Mimi and Popa took every drop of his good sugar!
