Wanna color?

If little girls have tea parties with their dolls, then Jack has coloring parties with his stuffed animals. He tried his best to get Cookie Monster to grab the pink crayon and he just wouldn't! It was really cute.

Ride em pony!

Mimi came the day after Aunt Jen left and stayed over Memorial Day weekend. She and Jack just had the best time together. She taught him all sorts of new songs that I'm struggling to remember the words to...... She also lured him into the swing outdoors (he hasn't sat in that for several months..... perhaps he remembered cousin Corinne swinging in it days before) and had him saying "more butterflies". Love you Mimi. Thanks for visiting us!

Curious George?!?

Jack and his boots........ what can I say? He hated the sight of them about a month ago. Then all of the sudden he enjoyed slipping them on. Next came taking a few steps in them. Now he full out wears them around, but only with his Daddy's green hat!!!

Where is Jack?

We visited the waterspouts during Corinne's visit this past week. Corinne LOVED the waterspouts and played contently in the water the entire time we were there. Jack took lots of coaxing and barely got near the water. If you look closely in the last picture you can see why......... he enjoyed running about in the grass much better than playing in the water. Hmmm.

Jack and Corinne

Aunt Chi (Jen) and cousin Corinne came to visit us this week. Since neither kids have any first cousins we've made them honorary cousins. Jack loved having Corinne around and proved that he's going to be a fabulous big brother in 3 months. We took the kids all around Mandeville and they had a blast together. We're so glad that you made the drive over Jen! See you again in September!

Anna Jayne's birthday party

Jack's friend Anna Jayne (in the pink dress) turned 2 today and had a garden party. All of the kids planted their own Marigold (Jack really enjoyed watering his plant as you can see). He even helped other kids plant their Marigolds. Jack and Alyssa had a great time jumping in the miniature spacewalk and will sleep very well tonight. Thanks for the fun time Anna Jayne!

Last day of MDO

Here's a picture of Jack and his teachers from MDO (Nita, Wendie and Brenda). The year ended today (insert weeping) for the summer break. I enrolled Jack into a summer camp at a private school for 6 weeks since I'll be upwards of 7-8 months pg in June and July. We'll still get to see two of Jack's teachers on Sundays since they also go to our church and work in the nursery..... but Mrs. Brenda we'll miss you!!!

Mimi sing Foo Foo

Jack LOVES to talk on the phone...... especially when we're in the car. He's not content to just talk to one person either. When he hangs up he says the name of the next person he'd like to chat with and will even leave messages (he knows to wait for the beep). Mimi taught him "Little Bunny Foo Foo" over Easter and now he asks her to sing it to him on the phone. It's the cutest thing ever! So here's a shout out to Mimi, Popa, Gigi, Dada, Mama and Chi........ Jack will be calling you soon!!

Miss Jennifer's barber shop

I think everyone knows how much of a struggle we go through to get Jack's hair cut (every 6-8 weeks mind you). Jack creates so much drama at barber shops that I asked my friend Jennifer to cut his hair for me. She has 2 boys and knows the drill. Jack was awful, as usual, but Jennifer trucked on and his hair looks great. Thanks Jennifer for a job well done. Jack was all smiles after the clippers were put up and even gave her a kiss when we left.

Jack and Madison

Our subdivision had a fishing rodeo today and Jack enjoyed being outside all morning! His favorite part was eating powdered donuts though..... he ate them for hours I swear. One of his girlfriends, Maddison, came out to play and hugged on Jack despite his messy face. Ahhh young love!

Big shoes to fill

Little girls aren't the only ones that love their parent's shoes.......... Jack "wears" his daddy's shoes all of the time. Seeing him try to walk in them is even better!!!
