Spanish Town parade

We took Jack to BR this weekend for the Spanish Town parade. It has really grown over the past several years and is always funny to watch (individual groups make their own floats with wacky themes). Jack's great aunt and uncle (Debbie and Dane) got a primo spot right on the parade route for us the morning of the parade. Jack enjoyed the music and the floats, liked the beads ok, but really did not enjoy being pelted by the beads or stuffed animals from time to time. Kids are bead magnets, what can I say!

You'll notice that Jack is bundled up like an eskimo in the first couple of pictures and then the layers of clothes gradually shed down to just his shirt. The day started freezing and warmed up nicely as the cloud cover broke up. He ate the whole entire day- enjoying cotton candy for the first time and eating a Moon Pie (a Mardi Gras tradition!!). All in all, Jack made out like a bandit and fell asleep as soon as we buckled him in his carseat.
